The lecture incldes the following topics

  • Complex numbers
  • Differential equations
  • Linear algebra (Matrices, Vectors, Determinants...)
  • Analysis of functions with two real variables
  • Fourier transformation

The lecture deals with the basics of these topics and their applicability in physical and chemical problems.

This lecture is a required course for students in B.Sc. Chemistry und B.Sc. Biochemistry

The lecture "Mathematical Methods in Chemistry II" is scheduled in summer semester only.
